Charity Hopping Around the World Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Charity Hopping Around the World Giveaway Hop! which was organized by Kathy @ I'm a Reader, Not a Writer, Reading Away the Days, and Reading a Little Bit of Everything. A "hop" is when participating blogs hosts a giveaway and then we link up together allowing our followers to hop easily from one giveaway to another. So, to find the linky all you have to do is click the link for one of the above blogs.
For this blog hop, our purpose is to promote a charity. So, I'd like to share the BookEnds Charity.

BookEnds is built upon a powerful belief in our children: A belief that all children should grow up not only with abundant love, food and care but surrounded by the limitless literacy possibilities books provide. We also believe that our children need to be given the opportunity to learn to assist others.

BookEnds is built upon a belief in the power of economy: Driven by our children, BookEnds simple business model transforms every $100 into $500 worth of books.

BookEnds is built upon a belief in our community: BookEnds is a testimony to the significant impact that a simple group of committed people can make.

BookEnds is built upon the belief in sufficiency: It is not that we need to purchase more books we simply need to recycle our books into the hands of children who do not have adequate books to develop literacy skills and to engage and inspire them with a love of reading.

BookEnds is built upon a simple idea that works.

Giveaway:
The Cozy Reading Corner's prize for this hop will be a pdf file ebook of Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep!!!
Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1) by Jennifer Estep

Synopsis: My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy—a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody's head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest.

But lately, things have been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death, destruction and lots of other bad, bad things. Freaky stuff like this goes on all the time at Mythos, but I'm determined to find out who killed Jasmine and why—especially since I should have been the one who died. . .

  7. Hi! I chose the Uganda Village Project as my charity for this hop. Among other things this great organization builds wells where no clean water source is available.
