Review: VENGEANCE ROAD: A Western filled with a kick-ass heroine, quest for revenge, hidden gold, horses, guns, & cowboys.
This book was an absolute joy to read! There's just something about a good western that hits the spot and this book captured it perfectly. While reading I was there, riding alongside Kate breathing in dust, feeling the scorching heat, on a quest for vengeance.
Kate was an awesome heroine. A spitfire who could more than take care of herself, she was strong, determined, and I really admired her.
While on this journey, I also grew really attached to the Colton brothers, Jesse and Will. They reminded me of what true cowboys were really like. Colton was always cynical and hilarious and Jesse was kind, light-hearted, and broody.
Overall, this book was fun, sad, exciting, and sometimes funny. I loved every page of it, the cover is beautiful, the characters are real, the romance is sweet, and you don't see the plot twists coming, the journey is definitely one you don't want to miss out on.
An ARC was provided by the publisher.
